Jimi Smith, LAc, C.SMA, DiplOM
Jimi founded Crescent City Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine in 2012 upon moving back to his hometown of New Orleans. He earned his Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) in San Francisco, California. While attending ACTCM, Jimi interned with Dr. Edith Chan, LAc and Dr. YuTai Fu, LAc with emphasis on Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, and Endocrinology. Jimi is Certified in Sports Medicine Acupuncture® (C.SMA) under Matt Callison and has also completed the Acupuncture Sports Medicine Apprenticeship program under Whitfield Reaves, LAc. Jimi enjoys working with patients in a wide variety of areas including: Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, Fertility (ART and Natural), Endocrinology, and Digestion. Outside of his time in the clinic, Jimi enjoys running, coaching and spending time with his wife and 5 year old son.
