Jimi Smith, LAc, DiplOM

Jimi founded Crescent City Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine in 2012 upon moving back to his hometown of New Orleans.  He earned his Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) in San Francisco, California.  While attending ACTCM, Jimi interned with Dr. Edith Chan, LAc and Dr. YuTai Fu, LAc with emphasis on Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, and Endocrinology.  Jimi has also completed the Acupuncture Sports Medicine Apprenticeship program under Whitfield Reaves, LAc.  Jimi enjoys working with patients in a wide variety of areas including:  Sports Medicine, Orthopedics, Fertility (ART and Natural), Endocrinology, and Digestion.  Outside of his time in the clinic, Jimi enjoys running, coaching and spending time with his wife and 3 year old son.

Kate Iberg, DACM, LAc, DiplOM

After completing her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in Chicago, Kate is thrilled to be back in New Orleans with her twin sister and family.  Kate works with patients to restore physical and emotional health using acupuncture, herbal medicine, and lifestyle and nutritional counseling.  With a background in education, she enjoys working with people of all ages, including children.  Kate speaks fluent French and conversational Spanish, and is happy to work with patients in either of those languages.  In her spare time, she enjoys being active outdoors (cycling, kayaking, windsurfing, camping, gardening), and taking in the amazing array of live music that NOLA has to offer.
